PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, using a simple structure, the leaking of lubricant imparted between a rotating shaft and a bearing, so that an operation is carried out cleanly. SOLUTION: In this corneal surgery apparatus, a rotating shaft 15 is rotated by a motor and the rotation of the rotating shaft 15 is converted to lateral vibration, which is in turn transmitted to a blade so that the cornea of a patient' s eye is incised into layers by the blade which vibrates laterally. The rotating shaft 15 is provided with lubricant prevention grooves or members 18, 19 and the leaking of lubricant imparted between a bearing rotatably holding the rotating shaft 15 and the rotating shaft 15 is prevented by means of a centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the rotating shaft 15. |
