GEAR SHIFT SUPPORTING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce torque on a clutch by interrupting the ignition of an engine during gear shift. SOLUTION: A cam 10 is rotated with the movement of a shift lever 18 during gear shift to cause an interrupting switch to be turned on/off, so that an interruption signal is supplied to an AND gate 28 via a line 26. During turn-on of the interruption switch a switch signal control circuit 42 produces a trigger signal and a pulse generating circuit 48 supplies a pulse signal having a preset time interval from a supply of the trigger signal to an OR gate 36. The OR gate 36 supplies a logical OR signal of the pulse signal and a signal representing that an engine speed from an engine speed sensing circuit 32 is over a preset threshold value to the AND gate 28 and the AND gate makes a logical product of the logical OR signal and the interruption signal and outputs it as an ignition key signal to interrupt the ignition of an engine. In this way, torque on a clutch is reduced during gear shift.
