PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch pipe unit for supplying water and hot water suitably used for a facility device requiring water and hot water supply representative of a built-in kitchen unit, a toilet dressing table, and a bathroom unit, and a water and hot water supply system employing the same. SOLUTION: This system is featured such that one side of a short pipe 2 is taken as an inner supply port 4, the other end of which is clogged by a drain plug 5, and a strainer 9 and closing plug 10 are arranged; then a plurality of pipe ports 11, 12 are provided at a trunk part of the short pipe 2, and an attaching bracket 5 is integrally set thereto, and besides a stop valve 14 is installed therein, which by inserting the female socket 3 of an insertion type quick coupling in the supply port and pipe ports 11, 12, and a check valve 13 in the pipe port 11, and also inserting a male plug 20 of the quick coupling in the pipe port 12.
