PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oily ink for ball-point pens, hardly causing the irregularity in the concentrations of drawn lines in response to writing directions, when the lines are drawn using a ball-point pen, by adding a specific compound to an oily ink for the ball-point pens. SOLUTION: This oily ink for ball-point pens comprises (A) an organic solvent (for example, a glycol ether compound or an alcohol compound), (B) a colorant for example, a dye such as Barifast color [made by Orient chemical industry (limited)] or an inorganic or organic pigment (for example, titanium dioxide or an azo lake)}, (C) a resin (for example, a ketone resin, especially a resin wherein the 3:7 solution of the resin and a 1:4 mixture solvent of benzyl alcohol with phenoxyethanol has a viscosity of <=250 mPa.s at a shear rate of 5/s and at 25 deg.C), and (D) a compound of the formula (R is a 5-20C hydrocarbon group; X is a halogen). The components A, B, C and D are preferably contained in amounts of 30-80 wt.%, 3-50 wt.%, 0.1-50 wt.% and 0.05-15 wt.%, respectively. |
