PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an inexpensive print system having high power source utilization rate by providing means for prohibiting the power required for print operation of a plurality of printers being driven with a power supply having a specified DC power supply capacity from exceeding the power supply capacity. SOLUTION: A power supply 1 supplying first through n-th printers 11-1n with DC power of 24 V, 12 V and 5 V produced from an AC power supply has a power supply capacity required for shopping card carrying operation and print operation of one printer and waiting operation of remaining printers. In order to prevent the power required for the print operation of a plurality of printers from exceeding the power supply capacity, each printer 11-1n is provided with an operation prohibition control section 21-2n comprising an inverter 31-3n, a NOR gate 41-4n and a diode 51-5n. When a high level signal enters into point (a), point (b) goes low and thereby the remaining prohibition control sections 21-2n go low to prohibit print operation.
