PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain apparatus which keeps verandahs and balconies warm while preventing dew from adhering to a window glass. SOLUTION: This curtain apparatus 10 is mounted outside windows 15 and 16 of a housing 14 or a building. The apparatus is provided with eaves 20 provided outside the housing 14 or the building surrounding the upper part of the windows 15 and 16, a curtain rail 21 mounted along the eaves 20, a plurality of runners 22 running on the curtain rail 21 and a curtain 27 mounted on the plurality of runners 22.
