PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting and cultivating container satisfying water- penetratation, air permeation and a water retention by using only rubber particles and a binder. SOLUTION: This container has a multiple layer-structured part at least as a part thereof, consisting of an inner layer having a low density and an outer layer having a higher density than that of the inner layer. The drying state of water content is rate-limited by the density of the outer layer, and it is possible to obtain a sufficient water penetration and air permeation matching to those of an unglazed pottery by adjusting the density of the outer layer. Also, by reducing the density of the inner layer, the water retention can be secured.
