The housing has a cylindrical bore a lateral inlet opening, an axial outlet opening, and a valve seat arranged axially at a distance away from the inlet opening. The closing element includes a sealing section adapted to seat against a valve seat so as to block fluid flow through the outlet, and tapered portion which defines a rotationally symmetrical circumferential distribution space between itself and the bore.
