PURPOSE: A method for searching information with use of geographical information, is provided to supplying information corresponding to a key word in a geographic type, by displaying search information regarding of a key word, a web client inputs on a graphic-type map. CONSTITUTION: A method for searching information with use of geographical information, contains processes. At the first process, a web client reads a web page of a server supplying search information by accessing with a web browser. At the second process, the web client inputs a key word to the web browser. The third process is to read information corresponded to the key word from a local information database. The fourth process is to supply the web browser with the read local information. At the fifth process, the web client selects one detailed information among the supplied information. The sixth process is to read an uniform resource locator(URL) of an information supply server supplying the selected detailed information from the local information database. The seventh process is to access to the information supply server, and to supply the web browser with information on a web page of the information supply server.
