PURPOSE: A baby shoe is provided to have an openable instep cover to make it easy to put on a baby of little strength in his or her foot. CONSTITUTION: A baby shoe having a sole(1), a heel and siding(2) and an instep cover(3) is made to open or cover the instep cover to place a foot easy on or off the shoe for wearing. The flap cover is fixed in stitching to the inner side of the siding(2) to be flapped over the instep to be fastened with velcro tapes, one on the inner side of the cover and the other one on the outer side of the siding(2), the toe tip being slide-fastened with the shoe welt.
