PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing vehicle management information using communications network and the recording media are to provide vehicle management information comprising an efficient driving method to drivers using communications network. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle(520) of a driver is provided with an operation recorder(521) interfaced with a GPS(Global Positioning System)(522). A server computer(510) comprises a processor(511) containing a program to achieve a method for providing vehicle management information using communications network and a data storage unit(512) storing all sorts of information. The data storage unit(512) consists of a driver DB(512a), a measured data DB(512b), an analyzed result DB(512c) and a fuel expenditure map DB(512d). The driver is connected to the server computer(510) using a web browser installed in a driver computer(523) through a communication network(500). |
