PURPOSE: A terminal for supplying information, is provided to display originating person information(a telephone number and name) supplied by a telephone office, commercial advertisement information supplied by an information supplying base station and user demand information by data which a user inputs, with a symbol and character, by being connected to a public switched telephone network(PSTN) having a 3000Hz bandwidth and linking with a telephone set. CONSTITUTION: A terminal for supplying information comprises the devices as follows. A micro(1) controls an entire operation. An input device(30) inputs an instruction signal of a user in the microprocessor. A read only memory(ROM,5) has a buipt-in control program of the microprocessor. A signal converting device(7) converts an analog information signal supplied from a telephone office and an information supplying base station into a digital signal, and converts a digital signal which is an instruction signal of a user output from the microprocessor into an analog signal. A telephone line interface device(11) matches impedance between the signal converting device and an office telephone line. A telephone line state monitoring device(13) detects a ring signal and a telephone line state, to output to the microprocessor. A random access memory(RAM,15) stores originating person information supplied form a telephone office and an information signal supplied from an information supplying base station by receiving through the signal converting device and the microprocessor. Also, the RAM(15) stores an instruction signal of a user inputted from the input device. A display device(17) displays originating information supplied from a telephone office and an information signal supplied from an information supplying base station, and displays a speech time and telephone charges according to a speech time with a symbol or character. And a driving device(19) drives the display device to display an information signal by receiving the information signal outputted from the microprocessor.
