PARKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE: A parking management system is provided to inform a driver of an empty space available for parking promptly without any fuel and time consumption by mounting a guide board displaying several empty spaces in a parking lot. CONSTITUTION: A parking lot having first to third passages(11,12,14) and each passage includes several parking spaces(15) monitored by at least one sensor. A video camera(23) monitors a part of parking spaces(15) depending on the structure of the parking lot and types of video cameras. That is, the video camera(23) is programmed by a computer software having a pre-monitored image of an empty parking space. Therefore, the camera(23) detects change in image of a particular parking space by comparison between the pre-monitored image and one of an empty space if a vehicle is parked on a specific space within a camera range.
