PURPOSE: A method for settling a credit card through a mediator in Internet electronic commerce is provided for a seller to utilize a credit card settlement service only with Internet transmission control protocol/Internet protocol(TCP/IP), by constituting a mediator for a service of X.25 leased line network between the seller and a VAN company. CONSTITUTION: A method for settling a credit card in Internet electronic commerce, comprises the steps as follows. A buyer(1) purchases products from a seller(2) by using Internet transmission control protocol/Internet protocol(TCP/IP), and demands settlement. And the seller(2) gets authorization of a credit card company(5) through a VAN company(4), and a financial agency(6) received a payment demand from the credit card company(5) pay settlement charges to the seller(2). A method for settling a credit card through a mediator in Internet electronic commerce, comprises the steps as follows. Between the seller(2) and the VAN company(4), a mediator(3) is connected for providing a settlement system in a settlement demand. The mediator(3) is connected to the seller through the TCP/IP. And the mediator(3) is connected to the VAN company(4) through a leased line network.
