PURPOSE: An anti-asthma substance which is antagonist to leukotriene D4 with hydroxy-stilbene is provided to treat effectively a patient suffered from asthma derived from leukotriene D4. CONSTITUTION: A anti-asthma substance, which is antagonist to leukotriene D4, has the structures of 7, 9, 16, and 20 compounds shown in Fig. 1, and such compounds have the 1H NMR spectrums of Fig. 6, Fig. 8, Fig. 12, and Fig. 14, respectively, and 13C NMR spectrum of Fig. 7, Fig. 9, Fig. 13, and Fig. 15, respectively. Leukotriene D4 is one of materials inducing asthma, and its binding to receptor leads to contract smooth muscle, consequently, occurs asthma.
