PURPOSE: A treadmill is provided to give the improvement of similar effect as rhythm in walking step or running tempo, without controlling it by using a speed control button thereon. CONSTITUTION: A treadmill is characterized by comprising the following components, i.e., a motor, some control means, etc, as shown in figure 1. Referring to figure 1, an upright user(10) starts to exercise in approximately middle of a walking belt(11). The user utilizes a button for controlling a speed in an indicator(12). Characteristically, the treadmill has some means which can direct the motor for the user's convenience to put into new desired ranges, when the currently action ranges for the user are out of a given place, i.e., more front or behind positions than the desired one.
