COMPUTER SYSTEM HAVING EASIER WORK MODE SELECTION AND CHANGE FUNCTIONS AND DRIVING METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A computer system having easier work mode selection and change functions and a driving method of the same are provided for selecting a first button or a second button by a user for thereby selecting a certain work mode and changing a work mode. CONSTITUTION: A user selects a button among the first and second power buttons(41, 42), and a power is applied to a computer system(S300). A CPU(30) initializes a system so that a display controller9112) and a keyboard controller(114) are operated by a BIOS program stored in a ROM(60) and performs a POST(Power On Self-Test) process for checking whether there is an error in each hardware. The CPU(30) judges whether a certain button is selected in accordance with a result of the detection from the button detector(160).
