PURPOSE: A recording apparatus for a video song accompaniment instrument is provided to record a scene in a video tape or in a compact disk as a remembrance when a user sings with the video song accompaniment instrument at home or in a singing room. CONSTITUTION: First to third pre-amp units(610,620,630) of a video pre-amplifying terminal(600) receive a video output signal of a video song accompaniment instrument, a camera output signal and a picture output signal stored in a hard disk. A video mixing unit(700) synthesizes the output signal of the video pre-amplifying unit(600). An audio switching terminal(410) of a switching control unit(400) receives an audio signal of the video song accompaniment instrument and switches the received audio signal to provide the audio signal to an audio signal storing terminal(510). A video switching terminal(430) receives a monitor signal and switches the received monitor signal to provide monitor signal to a video signal storing terminal(520). A program switching terminal(420) receives a timer program signal from a central processing unit(CPU) of a main control unit(100) and controls operations of the audio switching terminal(410), a video switching terminal(430) and a tape recording unit(500), respectively.
