STIRRING APPARATUS OF FUSED GLASS

PURPOSE: A stirring apparatus of fused glass is provided to prevent the defection of stripe type glass occurred by an unstirred fused glass. CONSTITUTION: A stirring apparatus of fused glass incorporates therein a needle(15)rotated and ascended/descended and many stirring wings(21) separatedly formed from the needle(15) along a shaft line. The stirring apparatus of fused glass is installed on uppor portion of the stirring wings(21) and comprises a large diameter portion(25), a small diameter portion(27) and a guide wing(23). The large diameter portion(25) is concentrically protruded from the shaft line of the needle(15). The small diameter portion(27) is lower than the large diameter portion(25) along a radial direction. The guide wing(23) has a guide surface formed thereon for connecting the large diameter portion(25) and the small diameter portion(27). Therefore, the stirring apparatus suppress a defection of stripe type glass occurred by an unstirred fused glass flowing down along the outer surface of the needle with being unstirred.
