METHOD FOR PROCESSING PAPER SUPPLY ERROR OF PRINTER

PURPOSE: A method is provided to suppress loss of a toner image formed on a photosensitive medium and to reduce the pieces of removed papers when paper supply error occurs. CONSTITUTION: A paper pass sensor(60) doesn't output a signal at a passing time even if rollers(36) keep driving. A printer considers paper supply error occurs and finds where the paper supply error occurs on a paper supply passage(35). The printer decides if there is a transferring paper(37) prior than an error position. If so, the transfer rollers stop working and the only prior paper is transferred by a corresponding transfer roller. When the transferring paper doesn't enter a copying device(19) and a toner image is formed on a photosensitive belt(14), the toner image is copied on the paper and discharged outside.
