PURPOSE: A method for converting signals of a telephone is provided to supply various incoming sounds with an incoming side, instead of an equal and monotonous incoming sound. CONSTITUTION: A method for converting signals of a telephone comprises the steps of: dialing a predetermined telephone number to an incoming side from a transmitting side; being responded with a fixed signal by the incoming side; detecting the fixed signal; and outputting an audio and video signal to a telephone of the transmitting side. The fixed signal detected from the incoming side, includes a ring back tone signal, a busy tone signal, and a congestion signal.
