PURPOSE: A soft switching mode power supplying circuit of a display device is provided to stop the operation of a main power circuit according to a switching signal which is outputted from a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION: A soft switching mode power supplying circuit comprises an electric wave rectifying section(11), a transformer(122), a PWM generating section(13), a power-factor correcting circuit(10), a main power circuit(20), and a microprocessor(30). The power-factor correcting circuit(10) includes a transistor(14). The main power circuit(20) includes a transformer(21), a control section(22), and a switching section(23). The electric wave rectifying section(11) rectifies an AC power. The transformer(12) includes a primary coil and a secondary coil. The transformer(21) of the main power circuit(20) generates a high voltage, and the high voltage is supplied to a grid terminal(G) of a display unit.
