PURPOSE: A circuit for preventing auto igniting of engine of vehicle using liquid petroleum gas(LPG) as a fuel and a method of preventing such ignition are provided to achieve an enhanced engine performance while preventing a auto igniting of engine by a delayed operation of an idle speed actuator. CONSTITUTION: A circuit comprises an idle speed actuator(ISA) consisting of a starting key, a main relay, and ISA relay, which are separated from each other, wherein the ISA is supplied with a power voltage via the ISA relay. A method of preventing auto igniting of engine of vehicle using LPG as a fuel comprises the steps of starting operation of an engine and judging whether the starting key is turned off during the operation of the engine, and performing a normal control if the starting key is not turned off, and if the starting key is judged as turned off, setting an ISA relay operation delay time, operating the ISA relay according to the set delay time, judging whether the set delay time has lapsed, and turning off the ISA relay.
