PURPOSE: A voice notification apparatus and a voice notification method of elevator are provided to achieve improvements enabling the voice information to be easily changed while arranging an additional voice recording unit. CONSTITUTION: A voice notification apparatus comprises an elevator controller(100) for controlling operation of elevator, transmitting/receiving a voice notification command signal, and outputting a broadcast command signal, a voice notification unit(110) for receiving the voice notification command signal of the controller(100) and outputting the corresponding voice information via a speaker, a car terminal controller(130) for receiving in serial the operation state of the elevator controller(100), transmitting in parallel the received operation state, and outputting an operation signal according to the broadcast command signal output from the unit(100), and a car operation controller(140) for storing voice signal corresponding to the information to be notified by users and outputting the voice signal via a speaker in accordance with the operation signal output from the elevator controller(100).
