PURPOSE: An apparatus for compressing refrigerant gas of a hermetic rotary compressor is provided to diminish the loss caused by mutual friction by the rotation of a crank shaft, thereby improving the efficiency and the reliability of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A hermetic rotary compressor for compressing refrigerant gas of the inside of a cylinder separated into a high pressure part and a low pressure part with a vane by rotating a roller(113) inserted into an eccentric part(111A) following the inside diameter of the cylinder with rotation of a crank shaft(111), an apparatus for compressing refrigerant gas of the hermetic rotary compressor includes a gradual decreasing element for decreasing contacting area between the eccentric part of the crank shaft and the roller(112) inserted into the eccentric part.
