PURPOSE: A method for speech in absence with a door phone, is provided to perform an automatic dialing to a set telephone number after a predetermined time when a visitor presses a bell included in an external device during absence, after converting a mode into an outing-mode and setting a telephone number to be connected, so that speech is performed between the external device of a door phone system and the set telephone. CONSTITUTION: A method for speech in absence with a door phone, comprises the steps as follows. An outing-mode is set and a connected telephone number is inputted when going out, to store in an internal memory. Passage of a set time is confirmed when a bell of the door phone is ringing in an outing-mode state, and the stored telephone number is transmitted to a connected telephone set when a set time passes. An automatic dialing to the transmitted telephone number is performed from the telephone set, and speech of an incoming person and a visitor is performed by connecting a telephone set of an incoming person and an external device, when an incoming is performed.
