<p>PURPOSE: A method for covering errors is provided to reduce degeneration of image on receivers. CONSTITUTION: A method for covering errors according to the present invention includes the following steps. At the first step, a characteristic of image and a type of frames at which current error occurs are extracted. At the second step(S3), it is determined whether a spatial estimation error covering method or a time estimation error covering method is to be used according to the type of the frame and the characteristic of the image. At the third step(S7), the frame at which error is occurred is replaced with an error covering block. At the forth step, a post processing is performed to reduce block degeneration.</p> |
