PURPOSE: A double-acting cam which helps a forming punch to perform an accurate punching formation on element is provided by having a stop section without separation at a certain point during forward-and-backward motion of a conveying ram through a rotation flow line of the double-acting cam installed on a rotating axis moved by driving force. CONSTITUTION: A zipper producing apparatus is operated by: delivering a certain amount of element molding wire(W) intermittently, by driving force from a rotating axis; forming the molding wire(W) into an element(E) by cutting, using a cutting die and cutting blade installed on the upper part of a conveying ram; forming a projection and dent which interlock together; attaching the element(E) to a fabric tape using a side hammer(61) at certain interval. Wherein the conveying ram(30) has a stop section without separation at a certain point during its forward-and-backward motion so that at this point, a forming punch can punch the element. For this, a double-acting cam(21) which rotates between two rollers(31,32) installed in the lower part of the conveying ram at certain intervals, is installed on the rotating axis(20). The double-acting cam is characteristically comprised of three parts of cam formed into a unitary structure: a first cam(21a) and a second cam(21b) have the same shape and rotation flow line, and a third cam(21c) has the same shape but different rotation flow line having different direction.
