LIGHT EMISSIVE GROUP-CONTAINING DIACETYLENE POLYMER AND ELECTROLUMINESCENT DEVICE USING SAME

PURPOSE: A luminescent material containing a new light emissive group and electro-luminescent device using the same are provided which produce luminescent diode showing high light efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A process is characterized in that a diacetylene polymer which contains a light emissive group of the following formula 1 and can be blended with various general polymers, so it is used as a luminescent material for preparing an electro-luminescent device. The electro-luminescent device comprises an anode/a luminescent layer/a cathode, or if necessary, a transfer layer and/or a reflecting layer using the polymer. The polymer is expected to be useful as an LED, a light activated switch, a module, a wave guide, a transistor, a laser, and a light absorption body, or a polymeric separation membrane.
