PURPOSE: A combined digester is provided, which is characterized in that wastewater is passed through several treating tank which has filtration media and aerating tube. CONSTITUTION: A digester is divided into several treating tanks by partition walls. The treating tanks are composed of a tank(14) for controlling water level, an anaerobic tanks(16,18), an activating tanks(20,22,24) of microorganism, a settling tanks(26,34), and an aeration tank(28,30). Wastewater is passed through the screen, and the concentration and flux are controlled. Organic matters, nitrogen, and phosphorus compounds are treated biologically. Treated wastewater is passed through filtration layer(40). Then, the wastewater is treated in aerobic condition in the aeration tanks. Solid components are filtered again in the settling tank(34).
