PURPOSE: An injector type cooling tower having nozzles and a slot for introducing ambient air is provided to increase an amount of cool air introduced into the cooling tower and improve cooling efficiency by heat exchange between cool water with warm fluid in the tower and directly falling warm water injected from a nozzle adjacent to a water surface down to a water tube without heat exchange. CONSTITUTION: An injector type cooling tower having nozzles and slot for introducing ambient air includes nozzles(5,21) mounted at an air suction side in the cooling tower for injecting water to introduce ambient air by the pressure due to the water injection, a bypass pump(4) for introducing cool water into the bypass nozzle(5), a system pump for introducing warm water into the tower, an eliminator(7) for separating water from air, a stabilizer mounted for smooth introduction of the ambient air, and a water tub(9) for collecting cool water, wherein the bypass nozzle is mounted on a slot(20) at a middle part of the tower for distributing cool water and a nozzle is mounted adjacent to a water surface of the water tub for injecting warm water to be directly fallen into the water tub.
