PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a temperature regulator which can easily be manufactured and is also excellent in thermal uniformity and thermal responsiveness. SOLUTION: In a thermoelectric device 21 between a substrate placing plate 1 and a cooling plate 3, copper foil electrodes 5 on its upper side are stuck to the lower face of the plate 1, with an adhesive sheet 17 covering almost the entire area of the lower face of the plate 1, and copper foil electrodes 7 on its lower part are stuck to the upper surface of the plate 3 with an adhesive sheet 19 covering almost the entire area of the upper surface of the plate 3. The total thickness value of the sheet 17 and the electrodes 5 stuck to the sheet 17 and the total thickness value of the sheet 19 and the electrodes 7 stuck the sheet 19 are respectively set thinly to about 25 to 1000μm capable of making heat resistance sufficiently small. Thermoelectric conversion elements 9 and 13 are dispersively arranged over a wide area covering the entire area corresponding at least to a base 2. |
