SOLUTION: This facsimile equipment is provided with an abbreviated dial number storing part 6 for preliminarily storing the communicating opposite side information which includes the telephone number and name of the communicating opposite side using this facsimile equipment by making them correspond to the abbreviated dial, a received telephone number storing part 5 for storing the telephone number of the caller received at the time of incoming, a received image signal storing part 4 for storing the received image data by making it correspond to the telephone number of the caller, a decoding/recording part 7 for decoding the image data stored in the received image signal storing part 4, and for print-outputting the decoded image data to recording paper, an operating part 1 for operating the start and stop of the facsimile equipment and the input of the print output or the like through the pressing of preliminarily decided buttons, a display part 8 for displaying the information of the origin of calling at the time of incoming and the information based on designation from the operating part 1, and a main control part 2 for controlling the facsimile equipment as a whole according to an input from the operating part 1 and an input from a network control part 3.
