PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance communication quality at all times when using a sector antenna. SOLUTION: In the radio communication unit, a plurality of antenna sections a-l are assigned to each of terminal stations S1-S6. An antenna section with best communication quality is extracted for each terminal station by periodically checking the communication quality of each antenna section, such as reception electric field strength. Then the extracted antenna section is sequentially operated to attain radio communication with one terminal station or more.
