PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make speedily accessible to a desired information by translating an identification code to the URL of a file with an identification code translation table and referring to the file with a terminal means. SOLUTION: A bar code B is read by a bar code reader 3 provided in a remote controller 2 and data containing the digital information of a read internet protocol(IP) address and data containing directory information are transmitted from the remote controller 2 to a client computer 1 of the terminal means. The digital information of the IP address and the directory information received by that client computer 1 are translated to a URL, for which the directory information is added to the URL of IP address designation, by an address translating circuit inside the client computer 1 and the file is viewed and read by the client computer 1.
