PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an outer rotor-type magnet generator capable of cooling a permanent magnet efficiently. SOLUTION: This outer rotor-type magnet generator is provided with a stator 3, a rotor 6 supporting a permanent magnet 5 at the inner circumference of the cylindrical part 4a of a rotor yoke 4 surrounding the outer circumference of the stator 3, a boss 7 fixing a stator core 1 at its outer circumference and supporting a rotating shaft 9 through a bearing 8 at the inner circumference, a mounting plate 10 through which the rotating shaft 9 passes on the open end side of the rotor yoke 4 and which fixes it at the edge part of the boss 7, venting holes 11a, 11b formed at the mounting plate 10 and the rotor yoke 4 respectively, and a fan 20. The fan 20 is provided so as to blow air on the outer circumference of the cylindrical part 4a of the rotor yoke 4 by sucking cooling air passing through the inside of the cylinder part 4a of the rotor yoke 4 from the venting hole 11b of the bottom part 4b of the rotor yoke 4 outside the bottom part 4b.
