PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment of the illuminating range or the like of a light source. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a display means 30 using a reflection liquid crystal element, an illuminating means 32 having a communicating function, a remote control means 34 controlling the means 30 and 32 and a transmitting and receiving means 36 provided on a display means side, receiving a control signal from a remote control means and transmitting the control signal on an illuminating means side. The means 34 controls on/off of the power source, brightness adjustment, adjustment of the illuminating range, adjustment of an illuminating position, and switching of the light source, etc. The means 32 controls brightness adjustment, adjustment of the illuminating range, and switching of the light source, etc. The means 36 relaying a remote control signal is provided on the display means side, so that an operator can adjust the projecting angle of the light source and the brightness, etc., while viewing the means 30. Thus, the accurate adjustment is attained and the adjustment time is shortened as a result.
