PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To filter a charge transport layer coating liquid of electrophotographic photoreceptor without using a powerful feed pump and lowering the productivity. SOLUTION: In a step a1 of this producing method, a 1st solution is prepared by dissolving a charge transport material in a solvent and a 2nd solution is prepared by dissolving a binder resin for a charge transport layer. In a step a2, the 1st solution is filtered by a 1st filter and the 2nd solution is filtered by a 2nd filter. Finally in a step a3, the 1st and the 2nd solution after filtered are mixed to produce the charge transport layer coating liquid. Because the 1st solution containing the charge transport material and the 2nd solution containing the binder resin are filtered separately with different filter, impurities are precisely filtered with low filtrate viscosity at high productivity without using the powerful feed pump and lowering the filtration rate. The photoreceptor formed by using the coating liquid is decreased in image defects.
