PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily reading radiograph information accumulated and recorded in a radiograph conversion panel having optional shape. SOLUTION: After fixing and holding the radiograph conversion panel 3 having the optional shape, provided with a stimulable phosphor layer in which the radiograph information is accumulated and recorded and attracted by magnetic force on the surface of fixing sheet 4 provided with a magnet sheet layer 4b on its surface and provided with a magnetic attraction layer 4a on its back suffice, the sheet 4 is moved while it is held in a tight contact state by a carrying means capable of holding the sheet 4 in the tight contact state by the magnetic force, and simultaneously the panel 3 on the sheet 4 is irradiated with stimulating light generated from a light source 9, then the stimulated luminescence radiated from the panel 3 is condensed and detected by a photoelectric detector 13 so as to obtain an image signal in this method for reading the radiograph information.
