<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color filter substrate which is utilized by placing it on the display screen side of a display device, and comprises a base substrate provided with a color filter and an electromagnetic shield layer on its one surface, and which has excellent productivity and can be manufactured at a relatively low cost. SOLUTION: The color filter substrate 110, of the display screen side of a display, is utilized by placing it on the display screen side of the display device, which generates harmful electromagnetic wave, by fitting respective cells of the color filter 111-113 for respective light emitting cell units and comprises a base substrate 115 provided with a color filter and an electromagnetic shield layer on its one surface. In this case, at least a first electromagnetic shield layer is composed of an excellent conductive material and is provided with the color filters 111-113 on its opening part and its lower or upper sides. The first electromagnetic shield layer is provided in a matrix containing a color separation region to separate respective colors, or in mesh ranging from the color separation region to a light transmitting region, or in a matrix containing the above mentioned color separation region and besides in mesh in the light transmitting region.</p> |
