PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a space factor even by use of a litz wire, to keep a self- shape to facilitate handling, and to stabilize performance. SOLUTION: This induction heating coil is manufactured as follows. A pressurizing roller 11 primary-rolls a litz wire 2 in a flat square shape with a pressurizing force causing no break of an element wire 21. A second pressurizing roller 13 applies a prescribed tensile force to the primary-rolled litz wire 2 and secondary-rolls the litz wire 2, while a coil-shaped wound body 3' is formed by wounding the secondary-rolled litz wire 2. After an adhesive is applied to between the wound litz wire 2 of the coil-shaped wound body 3', the wound body 3' is deformed in a spherical zone shape by pressurizing. After the adhesive is cured, the pressurization is released to obtain the spherical zone-shaped wound body 3' having a final shape.
