PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reducible the production lead time and development lead time by reducing the integrated formation type preprocessing process of a complicated part forming a meander-shaped commodity path being an obstacle to consistent line production from material to assembly for a commodity housing device for an automatic vending machine. SOLUTION: This commodity housing device forms a commodity path 27 which heaps and houses commodities in a vertically meandering manner between the left and right side boards 28a and 28b erecting in an opposite way with facing path formation plates 29 provided so as to make intervals almost constant. The plates 29 form a meander cross section shape in which small curved parts 29a and large curved parts 29b alternately are arranged in a vertical manner so as to make the intervals almost constant. The meander cross section shape is formed by pressing the plates 29 to be bent in an assembly stage, and the plates 29 are made to engage between the left and right side boards 28a and 28b.
