Transport vehicle has vertically movable internal floor (1) and floor support posts (11). Floor vertical displacement device (12) has driving part (13) carried by floor. Displacement device has series of cables (16) each with one end linked to driving part and other end fixed to upper part of post and passing over return pulleys (171,172). Guides (30) have, for each post, arm (31) resiliently mounted on floor to project relative to associated floor longitudinal edge (11). Arm is fitted with roller (38) running on post guide track (39).
