PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely depress a switch by effectively tilting the entire hinge button by pushing any position, thereby achieving excellent operability and a good operating feeling in a switch device using the hinge buttons for use in acoustic equipment such as a car audio. SOLUTION: An operating button 10 is composed of four hinge buttons 11, 12, 13, 14 tiltable toward a cylindrical fixed portion 15, and then, is held in a holder 30 to be fixed onto a substrate 20. Consequently, bosses of the hinge buttons are disposed opposite to switches 21, 22, 23, 24, respectively. Guides 41-48 each consisting of a slope-like rib are disposed in the holder 30 interposed between the operating button 10 and the substrate 20, thereby guiding the tilting direction of the hinge button toward the switch with respect to a pushing operation at arbitrary positions on the hinge buttons 11, 12, 13, 14.
