<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timer video recording device capable of recording a video correctly, even when a timer video recording is started in a non-signal state. SOLUTION: This timer video recording device is provided with a tuner 1 and a video recording and reproducing device 4, to start the recording of a television signal received by the tuner 1 by a timer set in a microcomputer 7A. A non-signal detecting circuit 8 detects whether or not the television signal is in a non-signal state, when the video recording is started by the timer. When it is detected that the television signal is in the non-signal state by the circuit 8, the channel selection by the tuner 1 is waited and the video recording is made to be on stand by.</p> |
