PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound information reproducing device enabling typing work to be performed efficiently. SOLUTION: This sound information reproducing apparatus is provided with a recording medium 4 for recording information including sound information, a central control device 5 serving to reproduce the information recorded in the recording medium 4, provided with a timer 6 for measuring time of sounding zones in sound information reproduced, performing automatic control so that the reproducing of the sounding zones is stopped for a pause time, if the time measured by the timer 6 has reached a fixed longest continuous sound reproduction time, and performing automatic control. When one sounding zone is detected to have ended without reaching the longest continuous sound reproduction time, the reproduction of next sounding zone is stopped for a pause time proportional to the one sounding zone, and an operating part 9 for setting up the pause time and the longest continuous sound reproduction time. |
