PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Schmitt circuit whose power consumption is small and which can also measure an accurate output characteristic by specifying the configuration of a set of logic circuits. SOLUTION: A set of logic circuits is provided with a 1st logic circuit NAND 1 that sets an output terminal to HI when the threshold level of an input terminal to which an input voltage is directly applied is low and only when the input levels of all input terminals including the input terminal exceed the threshold level. It is further provided with a 2nd logic circuit NOR 2 that sets an output terminal to HI when the threshold level of an input terminal to which an input voltage is directly applied is high and when the input level of at least one input terminal among all of input terminals including the input terminal exceeds the threshold level. Since a power supply current IDD increases at one place alone where the output OUT of the Schmitt circuit changes when the input level is changed from Lo to Hi, an unneeded current is not consumed.
