<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating cover for jumper wires which enables prevention of a ground fault, when a building material or the like hanging from an iron tower arm is brought into contact with a jumper wire, and is furthermore easy to installed and is low cost. SOLUTION: A cut 11 is made in an cylindrical elastic insulator 10, having a wall thickness sufficient for ensuring an insulation resistance which is sufficient to withstand the operating voltage, and is made of EPDM or the like, so that a jumper wire can be passed through the insulator. Draining of water which perpetrated the insulator can be facilitated by forming the cut 11 into a spiral or providing the cut 11 with a certain width. Preferably, the inside diameter of the elastic insulator 10 is made wider than the outside diameter of the jumper wire, so that the insulator can be rotated around the jumper wire.</p> |
