<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire for a signal circuit particularly as an electric wire for a signal circuit of a wire harness of an automobile capable of satisfying predetermined electric wire performance such as tensile force, ensuring reduced weight, and having excellent recyclabilty. SOLUTION: A conductor 11 formed by stranding annealed copper strands has a cross section of 0.14 mm2. A line shaped reinforcing member 12 of high tensile force (360 kgf/mm2) such as carbon fiber is arranged in parallel to the conductor 11. The conductor 11 and the line shaped reinforcing member 12 are integrally coated with an insulator 13 of polyolefin resin. Hollows 14a, 14b as dividing parts are provided on a boundary of a body part 13a coating the conductor 11 and a head part 14b coating the line-shaped reinforcing member 12 of a whole length of an outer surface of the insulator 13 of a '8' shape in cross section. Thus, even when a size of the conductor 11 is relatively small, the line-shaped reinforcing member can reinforce and compensate the degraded strength. In addition, when recycling the useless conductor 11, the insulator 13 is divided from the hollows 14a, 14b along a dividing line (surface) 15 of a whole length of the electric wire, and thus the conductor 11 and the line- shaped reinforcing member 12 are divided easily.</p> |
