<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a multiple color image capable of stably obtaining an excellent color image and also a monochrome image even in the case of using the color copying machine both as the monochrome and the color. SOLUTION: This method for forming the multiple color image is, allowed to form the multiple color image on the image transfer body by repeating for the respective color, a step for forming a latent image in accordance with the respective color on the latent image carrier, a step for developing the latent image on the latent image carrier by adopting the developer consisting of tone and carriers in accordance with the respective color, and a step for transferring the developed toner image. In this case, the method is allowed to make processing speed beyond 200 mm/sec., the carriers average grain size as 20 to 50μm, coverage of the toner with regard to the carriers as 20 to 70%, and the resistance of the sleeve length direction unit on the magnetic brush developing layer, in the rage of 109 to 1014Ωunder the magnetic field strength of 2.0 V/μm, and moreover the static charge quantity on the monochrome toner is lower than the charge quantity on another color toner.</p> |
